There has been a significant amount of development growth (and potential growth) in our water service area and we just want to put our customers at ease regarding the PRA's ability to continually provide potable drinking water for our existing customers and any potential new customers. PRA currently serves about 5,025 residences with water.

The Authority is approved by the DRBC (Delaware River Basin Commission) to withdrawal a certain amount of water from each of our five (5) municipal wells. Three (3) of those wells are located in East Rockhill Township and pull water from the Tohickon Three Mile Run sub-basin with PRA being allotted 24.99 million gallons per 30 days (mg/30 days) from those wells. The other two (2) wells are located in Perkasie Borough and pull water from the East Branch Perkiomen Morris Run sub-basin with PRA being allotted 19.84 mg/30 from these wells. PRA's current withdrawal amounts are roughly 14.4 mg/30 and 10.7 mg/30 from the two (2) sub-basins, respectively,.....which is roughly 60% of our allocated capacity.
